  • Awesome trip experience, from tour package selection to final drop at the railway station. These people are really experienced and professional. I chose Iris holidays by seeing their tripadvisor reviews and they didn't disappoint. Thank you Saranya for helping me chose the right package and Jude (our chauffeur) for patiently showing us around Munnar, Karakoram and Cochin. I will certainly consider Iris for my next trip as well.
  • Iris holidays and the team working behind is awesome. I especially thanks to Ms.Saranya Prakash, my tour adviser and Mr. Unni, my trip guide cum chauffeur for their unforgettable cooperation and service. I came first time to Kerala and found that kerala is not only India's best state but it is among the best places in the world too. The people of kerala are very friendly and surely people like Ms Saranya & Mr Unni are brand ambassadors of Kerala. I recommend every one, especially those people who are coming from other states with no knowledge of Malayalam, please take services of Iris holidays only. Thanks. Anurag Srivastav.
  • We like to thanks Iris holidays for lovely arrangement .We had a 10 days package all the hotels and the resorts were 3 stars and they also upgraded our vehicle to Innova and driver and also our guide throughout the tour Mr Mohan was very helpful and lovely person .Thanks to Mohan and Mr George from iris our holiday manager.
  • Initial Tour Planning & Booking: I recently booked a 4 night Kerala tour with this company after looking at all the reviews on TripAdvisor.I worked with Niranjana Das for booking the tour. While she was very polite & nice all through our tour, her communication was very spotty & sparse. She did recommend good resorts in Munnar (Tea Country) & Marari (Marari beach resort) but other than that offered very little recommendation as to what we should see & the worst part didn’t inform us that if we want to visit popular sites as Ernakulum Wild Life reserve we should book the tour online & ahead of time. We weren't able to visit this reserve since there was a 2 hour wait. When you book through a tour company & pay them for their service this is the least you expect from them. So overall booking experience & recommendation, please do your own independent research & book directly Guide & Driver: Our driver, Binoy, was supposed to be a guide as well, but he was just a driver & had no desire to show fulfil his guide duties & had no interest in our safety. In fact he was one of the reasons we had such a bad experience with this tour company & was the reason all the problems started. He picked us up from the Kochi airport on time but all along the way to our drive to Munnar from Kochi he was constantly on phone talking in his native language. We tried living with it for a long time but ultimately gave up & asked him to put the phone away as it was not just being courteous but NOT safe to be on the phone & driving All during our trip he had no interest in showing us the sites but all he was interested in , was forcing /coercing us in booking some other tour/show so that he can be off duty. E.g. In Munnar he coerced us to book a 5 hour jeep tour multiple times but i refused since I was travelling with my elderly parents & they are not interested. He then told us to book tickets for a 2 hour traditional dance show @ 10 am in the morning as they get sold out & booking early would guarantee us front row seats. Well, unfortunately we bought in & when we arrived for the show , there was no seat assignment there were more than 70% of seats available. The show itself was horrible & the entire place smelled of Kerosene oil. We left early & lost our money Binoy, also lied on multiple occasions & one night didn't even show up to take us out for dinner. We asked him that we would like to go out at 8pm for dinner. He listened , said if we can make it a little earlier but after we said we want to go at 8pm, he kept quiet. Later when we were ready for him at 8pm he never showed up & after multiple calls told us he is not showing up & told us to find another vehicle. We had to go out for dinner in a Tuk-Tuk since it was late but thankfully the Marari Beach resort customer service was awesome & they arranged for all of it Also on one occasion when I was trying to turn the car radio off he pushed my h& away which appeared like he didn't wanted me to touch the car radio. I got irritated & told him I want to turn it off as I have a headache but tried to stay away from an argument as I didn't wanted to escalate the situation Next morning we had a flight to catch at 11 am from Koch airport which was a 2 hour drive from Marari. Since he didn't show up at night we were really worried if he would show up in the morning to take us to the airport so that we can catch our return flights to New Delhi & USA When I called the owner, Isac to confirm this & also let him know of the drivers behavior , Isac did NOT apologize even once & he to my absolute surprise started yelling at me & started talking down using phrases like "Who are you to ask me anything, are you Barack Obama".. I was taken a back & then had to have the resort folks confirm with him if the driver would show up to take us to the airport in the morningThankfully he did & during our entire 2 hour ride back to the Kochi airport we made sure we had no interaction with the driver
  • Staff is very rude. Doesnt know how to talk to customers. They think they are doing some charity work for us.
