Fort Kochi Beach, Kochi (Cochin)
Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Relax in a tranquil and pristine setting of Fort Kochi Beach, where you can observe the so-called Chinese fishing nets, attached to the shore and standing 10 m (33 ft) high and 20 m (66 ft) across. Stroll along the shoreline to reach Fort Kochi, home to one of the oldest churches built by Europeans in India. After cooling off in the water, grab something to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants serving fresh seafood. Take part in one of the many festivals that occur here throughout the year, or look out for dolphins while swimming in the sea.
