  • One of the oldest Colonial Churches in Kerala. This church is the prime example of Dutch Architecture, which was later used for construction of many other churches in Kerala. This place housed the tomb of Vasco Da Gama before being taken back to Lisbon. The church is being well maintained and retains it's charm. There is a calm and serene atmosphere here. It's an architectural heritage. And is a must visit for all history and architecture fanatics out there. Totally worth a visit to this silent witness of Cochin's History throughout the centuries.
  • The most historic place in Fort Kochi. This was apparently one of the first churches here. Nice place to visit.
  • The church is of historical value as the Portugese traveller Vasco Da Gama was cremated here though later his remains were taken to Lisbon. You can see the Vasco Da Gama tomb here. It's a quiet place where you can sit and relax. Built by the Portugese, it is one of the very few churches which was not destroyed by the Dutch when they took control of Cochin.
  • Calm and classical. Has photoworthy facade and cool interiors with Vasco Da Gama's tomb.
