  • I would highly recommend! Best massage that I've had so far. Manoj and team are amazing, friendly and very professional. The place is clean and pleasant. Do try!
  • Not What I Call A Massage- More Like A Good ‘Rubbing’. I asked our Fort Kochi Hotel where to go for a good Ayuervedic massage and they recommended this place and 1 other. We chose Ayurville as they said this was more authentic. We got picked up from our hotel and opted for a 1 hour full body massage each at 1200 ir per person. I was ? massaged by a woman and my husband by Manoj (I guess it was). So I was told to strip and lie on a wooden traditional table that had a thin mat on it. The traditional massage I had done in Rajistan used no sponge mat and you slipped around in the oil on the table which was nice. This was not like this. The woman therapist poured oil on one body part at a time then rubbed it like heck and then spent as much time washing it off. So there was no massage as such- just a rub and I felt washing the oil off each part as she finished rubbing that part was such a waste of massage time. My husband can rub me with oil- it was a massage I wanted and needed- not a rub!. When she got to my knee which had surgery on it recently and doesn't straighten properly, I asked her for a towel to put under my knee. She looked around for something and picked up a couple of tea towels and put those under which was a little unexpected when I thought at least they would have a bath towel to use and not tea towels. So another point- I was not asked if I had any painful areas or any areas I needed her to concentrate on. There was absolutely no communication between my self and the therapist, except when she said "Good"? at the end. When I went downstairs to meet up with my husband, he said his massage was good and doesn't remember being 'rubbed' instead of massaged. So overall very disappointing. 1200 ir is a good price as far as Ayurvedic massage goes but as far as prices in general in India are for such services, I was surprised at the price of these massages- they seem overpriced and not great value.
  • Very simple welcome and kindness. Great abhyanga and foot massage. Thank you for this moments. Nice rest in mountains 😋
  • Came to Ayurville based on reviews on tripadvisor/google, was not disappointed! The massage takes place in what feels like a house, with fairly basic amenities and an old-fashioned massage table. The house is clean, hygienic and tidy. If you want to have treatments for specific medical problems then you would need to be able to come three or four days in a row. Otherwise you can go for the full body massage if you have just one day. My girlfriend and I had full body massages lasting one hour and it was excellent! So good in fact that we returned two days later for a second massage. There is a male masseur for male clients and a female masseuse for female clients. Ayurvedic massages use special oil which is warmed up before being applied to your body. They are firm (but less so than a painful Thai massage or sports massage) and move up and down between body parts (e.g. from shoulders down to hands) frequently rather than staying on the same body part for ages. Overall the service was excellent, the massage was perfect and I would thoroughly recommend Ayurville
  • Must visit place if you need a good Ayurvedic massage. Basic rooms but good value for money. Manoj is excellent
