  • When we visited this fort last time it used to be totally off road biking with all muddy road but now its not a off road biking but still you'll enjoy the ride. this fort has its unique beauty. Very easy to hike. Best time to visit monsoon.
  • Awesome place, must visit. There are basically two types of route for this trek. 1.THE LONG TREK(15 kms): Search "Rajmachi fort" on Google maps. This will lead u to a resort (UPPER DECK).From there u have to start your trek. You cannot take car in this route. This is a very tiresome journey and a very long trek. U will cover the plains by leg. after about 5 kms, you will join along with route 2. Bikes, however can be used. But riding your bike in monsoon will be a real challenge because of the mud. After a long walk of about 3.5 hrs u ll reach Rajmachi village(usually called BASE by the localities). From here u have to trek to the fort. This will be a 30min walk up the hill. 2. THE SAFARI JOURNEY. Search "Rajmachi trek" on google maps. You can use car or bike for atleast 5 kms (depending on ur car u can extend the kms)Even alto were seen climbing the hills, despite the bad roads. From the base village u have two forts to be climbed. Srivardhan and manoranjan. Srivardhan is the highest one. The ideal time to start the trek will be 7am at the maximum because after reaching the top the view will be hidden by the clouds in the evening time. A lot of water will be required. Carrying snacks is advisable. However there will be some shops en route. The trek will take one full day. Monsoon is the ideal time to visit. The drizzles will make ur trek a heaven.
  • This place used to be Paradise few years ago because of natural and scenic environment. But now this place is heavily crowded during weekends and vacations. Thousands of people visit this fort on holidays. The village becomes crowded and littered.Smoke due to burning plastic give very unpleasant odour.accomodation is available in many houses of the village.Overall this place is fine but not as Serene, clean and quiet as before.
  • Its a beautiful place and its all worth trekking it till the top. You got both medium and easy trekking route to top. Also in the base village there is home stay for staying. One day trekking is also possible but then if u really want to enjoy u should stay over there. Near to lonovala and karjat. Both ways routes are there.
  • Awesome place to visit, you can go with bike upto village (but not in rainy ☔ season) ,but rainy season is best for you if you enjoy walking or trekking. Fireflies are nice to see at night, awesome experience. And omemore thing Keep powerbanks with you
