  • Nice getaway from the city, but unless you're an avid birdwatcher - with binoculars, field-guide book, or have an experienced guide with you, please avoid. For the rest, it's not exactly scenic...just...  more »
  • The bird sanctuary is very old located on Mumbai goa highway. Nice stay options and resorts are there in nearby area. But if one want to see various specie of birds, he will get disappointed.
  • Karnala bird sanctuary a nearest place from Mumbai for bird with canteen to its nearest place. Many species of birds are easily found

  • Beautiful place! One should visit once in their lifetime... it's safe and easy! Well maintained and clean! It's best during monsoon and if you are looking for an outing during weekend Karnala fort can be a great spot :) and once you reach at the top the view is BreathtakingčśŹ
  • As the name suggests there are very few birds there and they all are kept in a cage. But the best part is trekking. Totally a forest with no shops for food or water. The path to reach the top is clearly understood and the view from the top of the mountain is amazing. The view itself is the reward of climbing/ trekking.
  • 1 You get the enioy the amazing view from the top of fort... Probably no camera can capture it only your eyes can. 2 At the same time you enjoy the route of trekking to reach on top. 3 You can have a good time with friends by having food... It's like picnic on the hillside
  • Best camping experience ! The hosts were very friendly and would help us with any issue. Food is amazing and in generous portions. The waterfall is a perfect place to relax. The camp is clean, peacefull Activities are great and entertaining 100% would recommend
  • Enroute to Mumbai to Goa or Alibaug Route. It is a pleasant stop over. A rare bird sanctuary and lovely trek of hills beside and a very popular pinnacle. You have lovely small restaurant and resorts nearby. Its an popular picnic destination for the schools in Mumbai.
