  • Nice place to experience the creative architecture of fort, easy to moderate for beginner trekkers
  • One of the most thrilling trek I have ever been to. Recommended to go during monsoon
  • This trek is surrounded by waterfalls and lush green trees. The way upto the top is quite difficult for beginner as the path is of stones and the steps are huge. But this trek is of medium grade and can be completed easily. Avoid using Karjat route as it takes too much time. Try going via Neral route.
  • Ideal one day trek for mumbaikars. Grade - Easy Recommended for beginners and amateurs. Take state transport bus for Jamrukh from Karat depot near karjat railway station at 8.30am and get down at Ambivali (1 hour journey). From Ambivali it takes 2 hours to reach top Food is available at Ambivali as well as peth village.
  • Old fort built around 1650. Under Maratha empire. This was used for food storage. Favorite spot for many trackers.
