  • This is probably the most spectacular Hindu temple in Kanchipurame! I went to this wonderful city for a second day after his arrival in India in Chennai. A simple city bus (about two hours and about 40 rupees a ticket), then in the temples at tuktuke. It is a huge Temple of Vishnu in South India, incredibly beautiful complex, inside it there is a gallery of ancient stone kamasutra images appropriate subjects, frescoes. To the left of the entrance to stone arch presents all incarnations of Vishnu and next ... live white horse-the present incarnation of Vishnu and quietly chews grass). A beautiful pond with his divine history. For those interested can recommend to refer to a person who is studying Hinduism, conducts tours at this temple and others. It also organizes yoga classes (graduated from the Institute of Yoga), massage. Good knowledge of English and a few other languages. Fine young man named Magech (Tel. +919445975325, +918015955925). Decent and competent. Lives and works in Kanchipurame and Mamallapurame. Really can help with any questions and problems!:)

  • One among 108 divya desam temples. A must visit temple at Kanchipuram, a town of temples.
  • Kachchi Atthigiri Thondai Nadu Divya Desam. One peculiar feature of this temple is that the gopuram at the back is taller than the rajagopuram in front and has Thenkalai markings. It is accessible via the mud track first prakaram surrounded by the green nandhavanam of the temple.
  • one the important landmark of kanchi. varadharaja is the male deity of this temple ,the special feature of the temple is that it has golden and silver lizards for worship.there is a small shrine inside the temple premises which host the chakrathalwar .the spectacular architecture of the temple is evident from the chain,it's carved out of a stone found near the mandapa which is in the left hand side once you cross the first gopuram .
  • Sri varadha rajan. Perarulalan sannidhi.
  • One of oldest and biggest temples. Try to go for dharshan during early morning. Avoid weekends as the crowd is unbearable.
