  • Too crowded on weekends. The safari jeep drivers do a fast clip to get their second rounds and scare the animals..On the other hand, take a nice slow self drive along the public roads on the Tholpetty...  more »
  • The time spent in the Wyanad Wildlife Sanctuary is time well-spent: even if you don't see tigers, the money you pay helps to maintain nature reserves like this.  more »
  • All you get to see is elephants and deer. If you visit nisargadhama (madikeri), you will have better view of the deer. They charge 110/person and 600/jeep which is not worth the money.  more »

  • Saw some deer, monkey, peacock, elephants.forest were very dry orelse it would have been nice.not too much tigers or leopards in this place it is very rare.i would better suggest to go bandipur tiger reserve as there are higher density of tigers and leopards.Closure period of the same is February 11th to April 10th, May be it will open by 2nd week of April. Best Season is to visit this place is August to February.
  • One never gets tired of visiting this place. There is always something new to spot. Apart from the Big 4 that everyone wants to see (Elephant, Tiger, Leopard and Gaur), we've seen many others that are equally great to sight - Jackal (yesterday's visit), Draco (flying Lizard), plenty of birds, wild dogs...you name it.
  • No standard rates for safari. You got to do Small bargain with the cab drivers. You got to see animals only if you know the tactics to hold lucky fairy with you. Better time is evening or post afternoon. You could spot more animals on the road itself if stroll by late evenings.
  • It's Quaint and Peaceful. The best thing about it is that you'll get to see lot's of crocodiles there.
  • Best places to enjoy solo ride, safe trekking area, awsome climate, good local peoples
