Lakkidi View Point, Kalpetta
(4/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
From Lakkidi View Point, behold the fantastic sight of the high mountain peaks, green valley, lakes, winding roads, and rainforest. You will need a car to reach this attraction, which sits just off the highway and offers little besides photo opportunities and the chance to admire the view. Try to visit on a clear day for the best experience and photography results, as rainy days tend to drop fog across most of the landscape. • Lakkidi view point is the topmost point at Wayanad ghats. The place has an amazing views of the roads.Brilliant view of the surrounding.
  • Created my son's portrait here. The view of road is excellent. I can see multiple road going up and down from a single place.
  • This is a very beautiful view point just a short distance from the Vythiri village. If it is not cloudy, the view of the setting sun could be captivating. The winding road down below leading to Calicu...  more »

  • Lakkidi is one of the highest locations in Wayanad. It is situated 700 m above sea level. It gets the second highest degree of rainfall in the world. The vantage point which offers dazzling views of the surrounding cliffs and valleys. You can see monkeys wandering around. The lofty mountain peaks, luxuriant vegetation and the bird’s eye view of the deep valley, with its winding roads are breathtaking.
  • Viewpoint is the bird's eye view of Wayanad! Atop the meandering roads and hills, it's a place where all tourists flock. Watch the breath-taking view. Its steep and trippy. The black roads find a way through the dense green patch spreading across infinite acres and miles. It's like a parting gift in our final adieu to Wayanad!
  • The viewpoint is basically a clearing on the highway that offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and the valley below. There is sufficient space on the road side to stop your vehicle for a quick selfie/groupfie/scenery photography. You can also see the winding roads of the ghat section, the roads that you just crossed to reach up here or the roads you will be crossing (in case you're travelling down hill) In my opinion, it's not much of an attraction.. probably worth 3-4 minutes of your time.
  • It is just a view point and there is space to park the car in the road side marked. It is just after the Wayannad border and the recommended time to visit is evening or morning before 10. Coming to the views it is really good and can spend around 30 mins in this place
  • The view point stay in calicut distric, this is the entry of wayanad 10000+ tourister visit the place every day
