  • After visiting entire Rajasthan, i am a bit disappointed with the Umaid Bhavan. Did not have much history to talk about But definitely deserves one visit
  • The museum is located in a corner of the main palace. It houses photographs of the Maharaja and his family. Nothing great in particular. The vintage cars (total 7-8) are behind glasses, and if you vis...  more »
  • Umaid bhavan is a feast for the eyes. Part of this is a museum, part is the present-day king's residence and part is converted into the hotel by Taj group. Beautiful property, great collection of vint...  more »

  • The absolute best service and superior quality in the world. A one of a kind experience to live in a real king Palace and feels the royalty. There is nowhere else in the world that we have had such an experience. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. staff is cooperative and friendly, These guy really deserves appreciation. The rooms are spacious and well decorated
  • I did NOT stay at the hotel. I toured the museum. This review if about the museum and not the connected hotel. As a museum, it was quite a disappointment compared to the many others we have seen in India. It felt like a cash grab to supplement your the hotel revenue. Some parts are interesting, however, it is small and the admission charge is excessive for what you see.
  • Must visit in jodhpur. Nice neat and clean palace 6 rooms showing maharaja's old collections which is open for all, around 10% of areas. Around 20% area is for hotel. You can get rooms from 40k to 400k Remaining part of palace is occupied by maharaja saheb. Beautiful place. Also visit vintage car collection near ticket counter.
  • IT'S A HERITAGE PROPERTY. SUPERB PALACE TO VISIT. NICELY MAINTAINED. THE CURRENT ROYAL HIGHNESS OF JODHPUR STILL RESIDES WITH FAMILY AT THE SAID PALACE.
  • A must visit palace. Though only a part of it open to the public yet its a great piece of architecture. The view from the hill on which it is situated is a vast expanse and very refreshing. The vintage cars on display are an additional treat.
