#1 of 10 in Parks in Jammu
Tour exquisite topiaries and enjoy panoramic views at Bagh-e-Bahu, Mughal-style terraced gardens on the banks of Tawi River. Lush greenery and colorful flowers are criss-crossed with walkways and fountains centered on a large artificial pond cut in the slope of a hill. Enjoy a view of a historic fortress and tour the vivid-colored sculptures in the well-maintained gardens. Numerous lawns and benches host couples groups socializing and enjoying the view amidst greenery. Paddle a boat or enter a giant fish-shaped corridor to see an aquarium on a hilltop, the largest underground aquarium in the country with 22 m (72 ft) in length displaying 400 species of fish. Where to stay in Jammu City

Budget-friendly accommodation options lie throughout Jammu City--mostly pilgrim guesthouses with dormitory-style rooms situated near the main train station, around Vinaik Bazaar, and in some of the temple complexes. You can also opt for one of the small but modern mid-range hotels, in close proximity to the riverbank. If visiting in summer, try to book ahead, as the hotels and guesthouses can be full during the holy month of Shraavana.
