Bagh-e-Bahu, Jammu City
Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Tour exquisite topiaries and enjoy panoramic views at Bagh-e-Bahu, Mughal-style terraced gardens on the banks of Tawi River. Lush greenery and colorful flowers are criss-crossed with walkways and fountains centered on a large artificial pond cut in the slope of a hill. Enjoy a view of a historic fortress and tour the vivid-colored sculptures in the well-maintained gardens. Numerous lawns and benches host couples groups socializing and enjoying the view amidst greenery. Paddle a boat or enter a giant fish-shaped corridor to see an aquarium on a hilltop, the largest underground aquarium in the country with 22 m (72 ft) in length displaying 400 species of fish.
