  • Bamandanga Tea Garden ! Opposite side of the vision !! One of the unique place to visit!! It’s my pleasure to put forward my personal experience while my stay at garden; The garden is surrounded by River either Forest; South side you can see ‘Garumara National Park’ where ‘Jaldhaka’ river is flowing through; One day I was going towards ‘Nagrakata’ town which is a hour distance, it was around 6-6.30pm our vehicle stops; what’s that a full grown ‘Rhino’ just a 4 -6 ft away from our vehicle standing on the road – blocking our way ::); this is not only one instance to experience the nature in the vicinity ; several times the Elephants comes to the locality and made the human awake throughout the night; ‘Peacock’ ‘Snake’, ‘Bison’ are common and seems they are quite used to – to stay with human; verity of birds most are quite unknown at list for me; all together a great experience which I will not forget throughout my life. Hope the location will be as it is in the times to come, after all in some area we don’t need development to keep the nature ‘natural’…….
  • Gorumara National Forest is located on the Tarai range In north side of West Bengal. It is a beautiful forest on the side of Murti River. There are many good Forest Resorts on the other side of the River. Staying in these resorts are really memorable. You can hear the sound of peacok, elephant and many more animal in the night coming from the forest. There are a observation tower in the forest on the side of salt pit and pond . Animals come in the salt pit for drinking water and salt. There is also arrangement for Jungal Safari in the forest which is really enjoyable.
