A must stop if you are looking for spices and tea in Jaipur. The storekeeper is very helpful and explains the story about the village where his family grows the spices they sell. Great quality.

Is the best store in diversity of spices, tea, and incenses...wow! Besides the local Masala tea they serve right after you get in the store, is kind of a welcome. I strongly recommend to anyone who is going to Jaipur and want to have a unique experience. ;-)

Royal Spices and Tea is a wonderful place to visit in Jaipur! They let you smell and taste lots of nice quality spices, and they are friendly and knowledgeable. They are not pushy when selling, which I found rare and refreshing. I ordered a wholesale amount of henna powder from them for mehndi, and it was good quality and fresh!

Where to stay in Jaipur

With a big selection of budget and mid-range hotels, Jaipur serves as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Many taxi and rickshaw drivers aggressively push their choice of hotels on unwitting tourists--if you refuse their suggestions, they might double the fare. To avoid this inconvenience, book your room ahead and call the hotel to arrange for a pickup--many offer shuttle services to and from the train and bus station.
