Where to stay in Jaipur

With a big selection of budget and mid-range hotels, Jaipur serves as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Many taxi and rickshaw drivers aggressively push their choice of hotels on unwitting tourists--if you refuse their suggestions, they might double the fare. To avoid this inconvenience, book your room ahead and call the hotel to arrange for a pickup--many offer shuttle services to and from the train and bus station.

  • A good place of enjoyment for kids. Zoo is small and lacks cleanliness. Must visit in early hours of morning to avoid heat of sun. Carry water bottles and eatables with you as these are not available inside.
  • It's a great place.. You would find lots of amazing stuff related to past.. Definitely worthy..
  • As Jaipur is a hot city, you may not see many animals during the day time. Best time to visit zoo is from morning to before noon. Remember to carry water bottle and some packed food items due to lack to eateries in the premises.
  • It is located opposite to Albert hall museum. The entry ticket is 30₹ for Indian citizens and 300₹ for foreign tourists. The zoo is poorly maintained and their are hardly any animals kept. More than half of the listed animals are not present. Visited in March 2017. I would not recommend this place for visit.
  • very good looking place, many type of birds and other animals put here. the charge of ticket is only 30₹ for all indians. although 300₹ per codidet for forgen travelers.
