Albert hall museum is one of the oldest museum in rajasthan ,this museum was designed by colonest Sir Sameul jacob in 1876 year in order to greet King Edward seventh as prionce of wales on his visit to India and latter this was opened for local public in year 1887. This museum is located in ramniwas garden and just opposit to zoo ,so when you go to ramniwas garden you will find Zoo and albert hall museum in same campus .
It tells the typical Indian dresses, people of different parts of India. Obviously the main focus is Jaipur and Rajasthan. Weapons, Royal utensils, paintings....old collections and few international collections......
One of the finest museums not just in Jaipur but in entire India. Looks stunning from outside. The sight of pigeons flying around the museum is wonderful to watch. Has various pieces of art showcasing tradition and culture of the medieval era. The war armory of old times is a treat to witness.
