Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat, Jabalpur
(4.6/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
Take a boat ride to Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat, and enjoy gliding along the narrow marble gorge. As the Narmada River makes its way through Madhya Pradesh, it has carved through the soft marble, creating a 3 km (1.8 mi) canyon. Cruise the crystalline river waters as you admire the tall, whitewashed cliffs, occasionally changing in texture and color to become brown or a vibrant blue. Take a cable car across the gorge for another perspective of the marble rocks, or visit the gift shop for some marble-themed souvenirs. Make Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat a part of your Jabalpur vacation plans using our Jabalpur vacation builder.

  • Located close to the dhuandhar waterfalls, there are row boats available that do about one hour rides. The smaller boats (5 seater capacity) can travel farthest on the river. The boatman will explain ...  more »
  • A boat ride on river Narmada can give you excellent view of the marble rocks. If boats are not plying due to water levels in the river, one can walk down to the marble rocks
  • we had a hurried visit to Bhedaghat since the train got delayed. It is Amazing. The commentary by Boat guide is very good. Not to be missed if you are around Jabalpur

  • The place is just beside Narmada river, you can see the gorges of marble path of Narmada from each room. Clean rooms well maintained. Nice garden to have evening tea with your love. Food quality is good.
  • Nice place to stay at Bhedaghat .Had our stay in tents facing the river. View is great with small garden area for seatout and playing .Food quality good .A small shop exibiting marble artifacts.MPTDC resorts are really good to stay. At a Walking distance from boating point and Chousat yogini temple.
  • MP Tourism Standards have risen. This Hotel/Motel is a perfect example of how the tourism government is trying hard to rise above par. It is situated on the border cliff with an exvellent view of the Marble Mountains. A swimming pool at the edge gives it a charming effect.
  • This is a hotel managed by MP Tourism. The management of the hotel is very good. This is a small hotel but is excellent. The staff is extremely hardworking and courteous. When we reached the hotel, there were two different parties but the staff managed the work very well. The hotel staff made our stay memorable. They were very helpful. As we had to leave early next morning, they provided us breakfast in the room. It is right next to the marble rocks. The view of the marble rocks is very beautiful. There is also a play area for the kids to play. There is enough space to have an outdoor party with the view of the marble rocks. The hotel is very clean. Also, this place is very close to other attractions such as Dhuandhaar falls, cable car. TIP - If you have a package with MP Tourism, one of the hotel staff can accompany you to enter the attractions.
  • The black marble thrills you and you can go boating and they always pinpoint the place where Srk, Kareena film Ashoka was filmed here ,you only get chips and cold drinks, the Govt.should do something and it will attract more tourists!
