The Tomb of Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah the founder of Hyderabad and his sons and family in "Qutb Shahi Tombs" Beautiful epigraphy and art, well designed and great architecture with scripts from The Holy Quran and doaa'.
These huge tombs are constructed by Kutub shah and his generations. Tombs are constructed on gravezs of kutub shah, begam hayat, etc. There walls are hanging on large pillars of stone. Ceilings are painted with 'nakkasi' in SALTANAT style. But this historical architecture is neglected and not maintained well.
You will find huge different sizes of tombs after entering at the place. All the tombs have their own reason of construction which can be found at the entrance of each tomb. Good open place and greenery around makes a good play area as well for kids. Renovation work was going on for two tombs and also there is a museum inside which was closed at the time I went, hope to see these next time.
Very nice place. Lot of our history is here. The thing is, it's not well maintained. But we 7 had fun roaming around and just looking at them. They are very nicely done. Recommended to go at Evening before sunset after other places, just for taking a stroll. Relaxing place.
you have to see this if u take it easy its not a thing to it an important and great place if there are no qutub shahi there will not be anything remaining for india and our city hyderabad to be noticed by tourists so plzz visit and enjoy the history......
