  • Loved it..... It is a good spot to hangout with family.. Specially kids can enjoy this place . Booking can be made in both offline mode using the counters provided near the entrance or by online mode using the zoo app or by digital counters near the park.... Pollution free atmosphere... You can take the complete zoo park safari in various modes say Bicycle, electric bike, and train safari... Wild safari helps you to see wild animals like lions, tigers from a very near distance... Over all it is the best place to hangout with your family and friends in a weekend or holidays.....
  • Very well maintained Zoological park. Spent a lot of time and had a great fun. Best suitable for families and friends to spend an occasional time and best spot for picnic time. Food quality is also good, but they should improve more. Finally it is the place to spend best time of whole the day. Awesome experience. All nature lovers, animal lovers and bird lovers should visit once to enhance their experience.
  • A good place for taking kids..but should go early to avoid the sun. Although there are places to eat it's better if you carry your own food. Drinking water is available in several places. If you don't mind spending, battery cab is good, that way you can have a comfortable visit. One could notice that the animals are not being fed well especially the carnivores. But the kids will love it.
  • Good Exhibits. Huge land. To cover the zoo, there are options like cycle on rent (Rs. 20) or toy train (Rs.20/person) or electric car (Rs. 50/person) available. We covered it on foot (best way if you have the stamina). You can cover it in half a day easily. Car parking available (charges Rs. 30). Cloak room available and Camera charges to be paid, if you wish to take it inside. Well maintained and planned. It's worth exploring ! Kids will like it especially. You get to see big Tortoises, Apes, Jaguars, Leopards, Tigers, Lions, Bears, Jackals, Rhino, Hippos, Elephants, Giraffe, Hyenas, Birds, Reptiles, Fish etc. PS: We didn't go for Lion Safari as there was huge queue for the tickets. Go on weekdays and avoid going during school vacation / holidays. It's closed on Mondays and last entry to zoo is closed at 4:30 pm.
  • It's an amazing experience, you get to watch White tigers, Giraffes and Rhinoceros and many more incredible animals in one place. If you can shell out just a few more bucks you'll get to ride a tram which takes you to the important parts of the zoo while taking pit stops for you to enjoy and explore the place for yourself. A few extra will get you the Safari which is basically you getting into a armored van which is well shielded for any random animal assault and exploring the parks nature's reserve for big canines. There are also refreshments available everywhere but they do cost a little more than usual. You can also pay rent for a bicycle by a hour basis and it's quite cheap too however the cycles themselves are worn out and is not recommended for casual visitors. There are plenty of places to simply bunker down and picnic but you'll have to be a little mindful of the visitors. Cameras are allowed but you're charged extra for using them, buy a ticket to legally use the camera within the zoo premises available at the counter where you buy tickets for entrance; cellphones seem to be exempt from the rules but we can't ascertain its legality and since everyone has a phone with camera taking pictures with a phone is generally considered fine. The zoo is a big walk so it's a good idea to stock up on some water if you plan to explore it on foot although you'll find plenty of water taps for drinking water along the main attractions, I should also mention that no outside food is allowed within the premises but for some reason they don't really enforce the rule and mums usually bring some home cooked meals to picnic around, they aren't objected. The zoo closes at 5:30pm so it might not be possible for you to completely explore the place in a day however if you take the tram you'll cover all the main attractions. It's also a good idea to start out early in the morning and prepare well for the trip. Be careful while navigating the tough roads and have a safe trip!
