Admire the millennium-old details of Chilkur Balaji Temple, a place of worship devoted to Venkateswara, a form of the Hindu god Vishnu. Also known as the "visa god," Venkateswara draws devotees praying to gain a visa to visit the United States. If their initial 11 rounds around the temple yield success, worshippers must perform another 97 circumambulations in thanks. The temple represents one of the few in the country that doesn't accept any money from devotees, and has no privileged access. many people especially students come to this temple call Balaji god as visa god as they get their visa once they pray here !
Very good place in outside of hyderabad, very peace full area. we have to spend more time here to complete 108 rounds arround the temple
Quiet peaceful place... With no foreign disturbances or traffic.. the temple gets quiet crowded for parikrama , so better be at the temple around 5'o clock in the morning..

This is really a powerful god. I usually don't believe in god stuff, I was always telling my wife that if god wants to see us.. he will call us... this was my character. I will give you this example.. which, myself I was not able to believe.. In 2008, I visited to Hyderabad due to company training.. I was interested to see all the places in Hyderabad, I came to visit golconda fort and somehow accidentally came to this temple and done the ritual i.e round around the god for 50 time till that date I don't had any thought of going to abroad and never I had any abroad visa.. after this I went to UK twice for first time for one year and second time for three years and I was thrown out from one of my colleague.. I came back in 2013.. I never visited back to this temple to complete my ritual.. I was trying for Australia PR and I wrote ielts for 5 times, tofel and pte never got success, there was one or the other problems I was facing.. after I came from UK I strongly felt to visit the temple and complete the ritual.. but neglected.. this month I wanted to take ielts out side Bangalore anywhere within india, I was supposed to book ielts in orissa but some how i came to Hyderabad today I have completed my written test and Monday I have a speaking.. I was just checking what to do on Sunday.. then everything flashed .. realized that everything happens for a reason.. and tomorrow I am definitely going to the temple.. I believe we are very small in front of the god.. I don't know what to say... ?
Chilkur Balaji temple is famously known as Visa Balaji temple. If you have any desire to be fulfilled, then pray the lord for it wholeheartedly and perform 11 pradakshinas (rounding). Then after your wish will be fulfilled and you have to perform 108 pradakshinas. Another important feature of the temple is that there is no Hundi in the temple and every devotee is treated equally.
I just got the visa with grace of visa Balaji...Chilkur Balaji It's a divine & holy temple. ..something definitely special here as mind just settles down..the only temple which treats every one equal befor God. Tempal management is really very cooperative and humble. Bhakti and Bhaktas are given importance here..you just feel blessed. The temple doesn't have any hundi..They don't accept any offering for God . Instead they only preach people to spread the divinity of THE GOD. The immense vibration of the Temple will recharge you.
