Madhav National Park is situated in Shivpuri District of Gwalior region in northwest Madhya Pradesh, India. Very nice place. Full of greenery. Nature and green forest all around. Deers and lots of peacocks can be spotted here. Hard to find other wild animals but it has a nice old palace kind of building from where you can have a really great view.
Madhya Pradesh is a state which is have lots of jungle(forests). Now come to the ➡️➡️➡️ Madhav National Park ⬅️⬅️⬅️ This park is 550 sq kms but due to Lack of animals only limited species are left. Chital, deer, ape, monkey Very good place for tourist spot
Nice Park . But There is no More Animals. Only Deers And Monkey
NO TIGERS ! Very few LEOPARDS, 10-12 in 354 sq. kms if guides are to be believed (but seems like they are also not sure). Then why to visit, here are few points- * It is literally a " Park " , remains open throughout the year with no specific timings. One can visit any time from sunrise to sunset with their own vehicle ( 4 wheelers only). * So, those who loves photography can time their shots accordingly. (I think , after or in rainy season it will be green everywhere and roaming deers will make your photographs beautiful, but remember getting down from vehicle is not allowed here as well ) * If you never been to any of the national park, then this could be good option to start with as you can see many migratory birds (in winters) , spotted deers, neel gaay, wild boars, crocodiles, langoors for sure in open environment and if lucky then Dholes, wild cat, hyna, fox and if EXTREMELY LUCKY then LEOPARD also ( but very rare sighting). * Even if you already have visited some national parks but if you like spending some time and money calmly in jungle with above mentioned creatures then you will not hate it, in fact you may find it photogenic . Park is certainly NOT FOR THOSE who wants to see animals every next minute. One should also note that OPEN ZYPSIES are NOT AVAILABLE. I RECOMMEND you to visit this park either early morning around 6 or after noon around 3:30-4 pm as most of the animals are on move towards the lake. I drove at the speed of 10-15 kmph inside the park , it took around 2 hours. Those who DON'T HAVE THEIR OWN VEHICLE can hire maruti omni (8 seater) from entry gate itself. CHARGES as on February 2018:- * Entry fees per vehicle ₹ 1500 + ₹600 (approx) if you hire vehicle from gate. * Guide charges ₹360
