4.4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Take in the biggest and most visited temple in the city at Sheetla Mata Mandir, built over 300 years ago by two brothers. Dedicated to Shitala, the goddess of ailments, the temple draws many who come to pray for good health. Observe the red and white stone architecture, snap pictures of the large Shiva statue outside, and seek shade below the large banyan trees planted around the temple. When visiting, be sure to factor in the Navratri holiday, held twice annually, when thousands upon thousands flock to the temple to worship and revel in music. • Very famous temple, long queues.. great rush during navaratras, people gather at night for early morning pooja. Parking can be a problem during the day but manageable.
  • We happen to visit this temple on the occasion after holi when the place was jam packed with people with not an inch to move. Clearly showed the reverence of the people
  • Happy place jai mata de .
  • I love this place and rating it with 5 star just because of good nature of people over there and very cooperative. Mandir is also too good, we should go there for seeing goddess and get bless.
