  • 25kms from gokarna city on the way to Murudeshwara, there's this amazing small fort for history lovers, which has to offer a good scenic view of greenery.

  • Its beautiful when it's green after the rains. Good Place to take some great photo stops . If you are in Gokarna and you have time , it is worth visiting .

  • The fort is built over an area of about 10 acres. It is built with laterite stones. It was built with high walls and bastions. The fort has four entrances and many wells, which are interlinked and with access channels leading to the circular moat that once fully surrounded the fort, and leading to the canal works outside the fort's limits. At each entrance, there are wide steps to enter the fort. The fort is double-walled and has high turrets on the bastions. It is now seen mostly in ruins but is being restored by ASI to some extent.
  • Good place to visit and have a nice chat if you go in groups. It was green everywhere when I visited. However when I went there some guy told me not to click pics with dslr.
  • This is not a most commonly visited place by people who visit gokarna. Nice place to visit just 2-3 kms deviation from the main road towards gokarna. Fort looks as though it is covered with a green dress. It looks similar to the Dil chatya hain spot in Goa but much better than that.!! If you a photoholic this fort would also be framed in your wall.!!
  • Good to see historic place on way to Gokarna to Murdeshwar. This place is 2-3km inside from main road. Cars or bikes can go easily.
  • Great place for photoshoot... Nothing much to see.. Unless u r a history student ..
