  • Wonderful place. Never knew this place was in goa and so close to the bom basilica. Remember this structure since it was shown in a movie. wanted to see this badly and we visited this church. A church in total ruins with the govt and ASI trying to do its best to bring back to life. So sad to see just one side of this once majestic church standing. The best part or i would say the wonderful part in our trip was the way they have tried to recreate the past by doing a conjectural facade. It was simply mind blowing, first time we saw something like this in our life. Full marks to the guys who have come up with this wonderful idea, so that people can see visualize the past by being in the present. Though we went around and took pictures in different angles, we felt the best angle would be the frontal view, where it looks the most beautiful. Also we loved the way we had to walk up the small hill, of course a road is there but still it was so nice to do the short climb and as you are climbing you can have a wonderful view. Definitely a must visit place, to see how beautiful a single broken tower is. Carry some water, and a good camera too and don't miss the conjectural facade.
  • Not bad but because it's so close to the other monuments and museums you mind as well have a look at it. You will probably only be here for about 15 mins.
  • Its a ruined site, however noce tonvisit the place if u r a historical enthusiast..
  • This is old goa's fallen might. Place is rich in history and ruined church is a the World Heritage Site. In one side, goa tourism department have put some photos before the demolishing of the church.
  • Ruined structure.. nice place for some rusty pics.. calm and quiet place.

Where to stay in Goa

One of the more affordable regions for staying in India, Goa offers a good range of sleeping options, from budget to luxurious. Visitors looking for that feeling of home away from home can explore rental apartments, which offer more space than a hotel room and often come with fully equipped kitchens. Look for an apartment in Oxel or Siolim, peaceful villages with gated communities and a range of facilities. Beach houses and private villas offer an alternative for those with deeper pockets, while beach huts/shacks work well for budget-conscious travelers.
