Dudhsagar Falls, Goa

(4.3/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web)
The tallest waterfall in India, Dudhsagar Falls is fed by the Mandovi River, which swells us massively with monsoon rain water. With an average width of 30 m (100 ft) and height of 310 m (1017 ft), the four-tiered waterfall truly inspires with its grand size. Many tour operators offer monsoon treks to this spot--the waterfall is at its most impressive during the wet season. The surrounding deciduous forests shelter rich plant and animal life. Put Dudhsagar Falls at the forefront of your travel plans using our Goa vacation builder.

  • Must visit place when you go goa. It is beautiful waterfall, situated in middle of national park. When you reach the national park, you have to take a taxi from there, taxis are government managed, so you have to go and pay the amount and wait in queue still your turns comes. The taxi will take you to water fall and you will be given one and half and then bring you back, you have to follow the time deadline. You would love and enjoy the place, some time with fresh environment. Must go and enjoy.
  • Excellent place. Usually opens in first week of November or some time in October depending on the water in small rivers that we pass through. You can go by train or cab. If you go by train then you would need to walk for about 4 km. You may get bikers to drop you near by with a charge. Go with swimming clothes. With the help of life jacket anybody can easily float in the small water fall area. Must see place in Goa.
  • Worth every penny to go and take a dip in the cool water of the waterfall. Plus a very serene place with monkeys all around. A must go place if you are around Goa
  • Fantastic place to make a visit, awesome water falls is inside forest and no private vehicles are allowed. There are different kind of packages to go into forest, like vehicles arranged by them, go walk into forest without hiring vehicle(kind of trekking). Cool view from down the waterfall.
  • Very good view and a nice pave to visit. But just be careful about the slippery rocks and be safe. Know the train timings before you go. :D
