  • Very good informative place for understanding konkan lifestyle since ages... Might be difficult for elder people and those who have knee problem, approax. 2 k.m.walking is required for full museum visit, entry pass can be obtained from main gate, hindi and marathi guides available free for guidance. Water is available inside museum and one souvenir shop for gifts buying and some snacks/colddrinks are available. Photography is allowed. Must visit the place.
  • Lovely place. A different kind of open museum A trail walk with difference . Good exposure to nature based knowledge. Good guides
  • Lovely little museum showcasing how Konkan life used to be. Guide was knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about life and culture of days gone by. They have musical instruments that are 150 years old.
  • Nice showcase of old Konkani village and good collection of sea shells.
  • Takes you back few centuries down the lane and explains the evolution of generation in Konkan area. The guide service is good. But nothing great about the place
