Religious Site Tourist Spot
The idol at Ganpatipule Temple representing the deity Ganpatipule stands out for an interesting reason; where deities in other Indian temples face east, this deity faces west in order to guard the western gates. The attraction sits at the base of a hill, which pilgrims walk around as a sign of respect. A popular beach also flanks the temple, where tourists and locals crowd to enjoy the sun, making it a convenient stop on a larger day trip. If you want to avoid the massive crowds, arrive early in the morning, tour the temple, then choose your favorite spot on the beach without competition. Make Ganpatipule Temple a centerpiece of your Ganpatipule vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Ganpatipule itinerary builder.

  • Waste of money and time. Too much crowded. There is nothing to enjoy here. Beach is very dirty. Municipality restroom available but lacks of water in it. Guhaghar Beach is much better option instead of this. Lodges available but expensive. Parking Available but not Free. It's just religion place like any other. Not a good Picnic Spot. Avoid..
  • It's a temple of Lord Ganapati. It is situated on one of the sea shores of Arabian sea. Campus is big. But the sea shore here is dangerous to swim in. Due to its increasing popularity this place is catching many tourists towards it.
  • Beautiful temple in front of the Ganpatipule sea beach. Don't miss the 'Bhog' (religious offering) which starts from 7 PM everyday. Delicious food. You don't need anything to eat after that. Enough quantity.
  • Lord Ganesha's temple alongside the sea. Majestic temple and pleasant place to visit with family and friends.
  • Must visit place. Amazing experience. Beautiful temple.
