  • Patal Bhubaneshear is a limestone cave enshrines Lord Shiva with 33 crores Hindu Devta (God). It is 160m long and 90 feet deep from the point of entrance.
  • It is a cave temple that is accessible through a narrow tunnel, which opens up to a wide cave. Over 200 stairs lead the pilgrims downwards, to the location of the deities. There are several stone carvings of Hindu Gods and Goddesses in the caves. It is said to be an abode to 33 Crore Gods and Goddesses, associated with Hindu mythology! It is a one day journey from Kausani to and fro.
  • Jai Shiva .....Wow !!! Realley Unblivble Place He could not find it and took rest under a tree. He had a dream where the deer was asking Ritupurna not to chase him. His sleep broke and as he woke up and went to a cave where a guard was standing. After enquiring about the cave he was allowed to go inside. Right at the entrance, Ritupurna met Sheshnag who agreed to take him through the cave At Patal Bhuvaneshwar Uttarakhand India
  • This ancient holy cave temple of Goddess Patal Bhuvneshwari is described in Hindu Holy book Skand Purana also . The cave temple is said to be re-discovered by Shankaracharya Ji, It is very thrilling to enter this cave of lime stone as the cave is very narrow and slopes down to more than 90 feet , at some places you have to bow down to move forward , iron chains are put up on sides for support, cave is believed to be in shape of Sheshnag(Great holy serpent) and you have to enter from the mouth of the great snake and walk through snakes stomach, There are many other caves Inside the main cave , Here you can see markings on rocks of movements of Takshak Snake.. The king of all snakes, Ancient snake Kund, a rock depicting head less Lord Ganesha (When he was be-headed by Lord Shiva) , tongue of Kal Bhairav, Shivling which drinks water offered on it, Lord Indra's Erawat elephant having 1000 feet and Naturaly carved idol of Goddess Patal Bhuvneshwari ,
  • the most buity place . every people one time come in life.
