  • I have had the pleasant opportunity to be in Dharamsala with DALAI LAMA and I have also been able to visit this magnificent Buddhist Institute, located in an environment of Peace and Harmony. Its interior is full of Tibetan and Buddhist Art, you can acquire very original pieces, such as bad, etc., handmade by craftsmen. The surrounding gardens are well worth having a good time and the people very friendly. I recommend spending at least a whole day there.

  • This place is a must visit while in Dharamshala. It is lovely and beautifully maintained. It is absolutely clean and green. The doll museum is marvellous. The other workshops are also worth a watch. The posh restaurant serves excellent Tibetan cuisine. Though it is slightly steep but worth the money. The waiters are very cooperative and cordial. Tbere is a small coffee shop also. The place is very scenic with a small stream flowing and walls painted artistically . Overall a lovely place to visit. There are also plenty of eating joints outside the institute. Parking space is a little problem here.
  • Nice place to see, sit and relax. Good cafe inside where I ate yummy chocolate truffle cake, Afghan cookies and masala tea. In the entrance one can find informative information on the walls regarding life's mysteries. Fishes in the clean tank are good delight for nature watchers.
  • An excellent place of Tibetan culture. All sorts of trades and crafts are taught here. The center has a guest house 🏡, a couple of restaurants and trade centers. A lovely Doll's 🎎 museum on the premises. An entry of Rs.50/- is charged.
  • A historical place as well as training institute of the arts of Norbulingka. Usually open all the days. Tourist from all over the country visited the place everyday. With other hospitality you can take food and rest also. I suggest to visit the place before 3PM. Because of the trees and weather the place usually went darks in evening.
  • I love this place but there is always rooms for improvements. Thier handicraft store didn't had sizes for the designer t-shirts I liked. You guys have to restock it. You are running a business, if am not incorrect. It was not 1 or 2 but all a whole bunch. But must say the open cafe situated near the main entrance has delicious things to choose from. Service was also really nice and smooth.
