  • The temple of rats at 30 mn of Bikaner; good road; free entry; given his shoes at the entrance (it's free) and we rented a pair of slippers in fabrics for hygiene reasons (it is not mandatory) 25 rps - camera: 30 Rps and hop we enter the sanctuary of the rats. In this temple, there are hundreds of thousands, instead of thousands; of course, cats there are forbidden to stay. These rats are revered by the Indians because they are the reincarnations of artists and poets! After all why not. Suddenly they are fed milk and wheat. Attention not to "Squish" one; It is very frowned upon; But if a brave beast comes to smell your smell of foot and if grasps with its small "PuTTY" it's good luck. Visit interesting and original, we can always say we saw it!

  • Quite a unique experience looking at rats running and bouncing around you. Scared for the first few minutes but got comfortable later. They don't harm you at all ;)

  • Temple of Goddess Karni Mata. Just few kms away from Bikaner City. This temple is famous for rats. Thousands of black rat are live here and not even a single rat cross the boundary of temple. All the rats eat and drink the Parsad that is came from devotees of goddess. One more interesting thing is that all rat came together in front of Goddess at the time of Aarti. No rat hurt the devotees. you can give them Parsad with your own hands.
