  • Our brain has trouble understanding what you see in this particular temple where worship, feeds and prays to the rats that roam all over the place. Is impressive see it ceremony constant that is takes to out in the center of the temple where the monks pray sitting and with rats walking by your clothing. The fervor of the faithful is so large that you drag to forget you of your prejudices and participate in that ceremony collective

  • It takes approximately half a hour to go by car from the centre of Bikaner to this temple with holy rats all over the floors.People feed the rats with different kind of food but be careful that you do...  more »
  • I forgive here 4 points, because I have seen in India rarely so happy animals like these rats in this temple. If you have no fear of rats, don't mind a "Socks with soles" by whose heritage to run, then it is worth a visit. Unfortunately at the time of our visit just "cleaned" (bucket of water pour and stir around with sticks brooms) - which led to some wet feet. But everything right, have no permanent damage retain (I think...)

  • Temple of Goddess Karni Mata. Just few kms away from Bikaner City. This temple is famous for rats. Thousands of black rat are live here and not even a single rat cross the boundary of temple. All the rats eat and drink the Parsad that is came from devotees of goddess. One more interesting thing is that all rat came together in front of Goddess at the time of Aarti. No rat hurt the devotees. you can give them Parsad with your own hands.
