  • This place has been a must-visit for tourists of all religions who come to visit darjeeling from all over the world, yet they cannot maintain a single clean washroom. They should take lesson from monasteries in Sikkim. Such a shame.Views are great, ambience is good but hygiene and sanitation is awful.
  • The oldest Monastery in Darjeeling (according to local guides I talked to), this is a serene & very peaceful place. Usually, this place is covered in the half-day local sightseeing trip of Darjeeling, that starts with sun rise at Tiger Hill. Some Bhutanese women sell awesome woolen stuff too! Definitely worth a visit!
  • When i entered inside of it, i dont know what happened but i felt so relaxed.. I was feeling that i have entered heaven. So peaceful environment. Must visit place.
  • The place was holy. Quiet. And best part for atheists was the chai!
  • One from the oldest Monastery, peaceful place. As it is the oldest you will not find great infrastructure here, but yes definitely a rich culture. There were not many tourist when we visited the place, from Darjeeling main city we went till Ghoom by a public transport jeep 10 Rs per person.
