Shivagange, Dabaspete
(4.5/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Climb a sacred hilltop to get a fabulous panorama of Bengaluru Rural District area at Shivagange, an important Hindu pilgrimage spot. Looking like a shiva linga from one of the sides, the hill also has a spring, ganga, whose water is believed to be sacred. A sculpture of the sacred bull Nandi is carved into the hilltop and there are numerous images of Hindu gods along the trek to the top which you will start from a gopuram at the foot. Standing at 1,368 m (4,488 ft), the hilltop provides a number of observation decks to get spectacular views of the area. Put Shivagange into our Dabaspete itinerary maker to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Dabaspete.
