  • Large & Well Maintained Garden. Children Play Area Available. Could easily take one more than an hour to cover all the areas. A good bit of physical activity with all the walk and steps.

  • Beautifully maintained botanical gardens in Coonoor. There's a small lake where you can go boating. Walk around and admire the different species of trees and the beds of seasonal flowers. At the main gate check for free wifi, there's an open network provided by BSNL. You will have access for half an hour.
  • After a good lunch was very sceptic when the cabbie proposed we go to SIMS park. Having made my mind to have a quick look and leave in a few minutes we reached there. But the park is an excellent place to unwind, relax and slow down. Some great flora on offer it also has a play area for kids and some boating options if one wishes to slow down even further. The park is based natural hillslopes and forests so offers a good mix of natural and manmade gardens.
  • Simply beautiful. Serene environment...the trees and the lake truly make you feel one with nature. Beautifully landscaped with the park sloping downwards from the road till the lake the bottom. Must see for anyone visiting Coonoor.
  • Simple straightforward park. Less crowd n 30 bucks is a decent entrance fee. They should really so away with entry fees for cameras in this day and age.
  • The park is clean and very well maintained. It is a great place for family and kids. Lots of fast food carts around and you can spend good family time here.
