  • OM NAMA SHIVAYA As per my long day plan I start my journey to velaiangirimalai from chennai 27 may 16 at Friday at 10 pm and reach coimbatore by 9 am then refreshed myself then had breakfast, then took poondi bus velliangiri hills is the last stop. Had a one hour journey. Reached the velliangiri andavar temple which is in foothill. After prayed in the foothiil temple for safe journey. Steped on the hill with a stick. By the way I met a person he joined me we both start trek at the start of 2nd hill rain start. The rain boosts us and we start climbing hill in rain at the end of 3rd hill we meet a chennai sigaram trek group member. Be both are coming velliangiri first time. So we joined them then we start as a group. We shared our experience and they shared and guided. Took pic and vedios had a view of wonderful nature. And the weather is below 15 in evening. Reached the 7th hill at 7 pm. We took 7 hour to complete the upward trek. As per my opinion slow trek is best so that we can see every place. We prayed God and do meditation. Then we had some food which we carried . Then at 8 pm we move to sleep in a cave. It is not comfortable but we are safe from cool wind and wild animals and insects. All wake up at 5 am we again prayed, watched sunrise then gone to a view point. And at 7 we walked down. there is a small river in 6 th hill where everyone take bath and go to 7 hills. That place is very cool and dense forest. That place is look like that we are in a rain forest the tree is covered with green fungus and small plant growing in it. But that place has a thread. ( plastics ). The sigaram trekking member came with us started to collect the plastic bottles and other other wapers. Then we trek down. I also have an idea keep the forest Green. I didn't bring the bag. Then I got a bag which is thrown away by any I start my service to velaiangirimalai ;) then we came down. We again prayed to the velaiangiri andavar. And had a delicious anathanam provided at the foot hill. Then we left velliangiri by 4 pm Sunday. Then we started out trek to maruthamalai. By velliangiri andavar grace we trek smoothly we just seen few countable monkey in 2 hill, and saw two green snake near paambatti gugai and in 5th hill.😊 OM NAMA SHIVAAYA.
