  • Nice fort worth seeing in a life time. Dont forget to hire a guide to understand the place better.Early morning trek is preferrable
  • Compared to forts like Golkonda, Devgiri, etc, this fort doesnt offer you a very lavish experience of architectural grandeur. Still, a good place for a day's trip.
  • - Are you a history buff? - Ancient architecture admirer? - Looking for adventure? - Temple explorer? - Nature lover? This place has everything! Something for everybody, makes a perfect outing with pe...  more »
  • Great fort with huge structures and unbelievable how these monuments were built by humans. Must visit and best time to visit is between Nov to Feb to avoid soaring summer. This fort is huge and can take almost a day to cover completely. Better take a guide for better understanding each of the structure.
  • A well maintained Fort around 200 Kms away from banglore. Visited while traveling to hampi. A great monument and huge complex. Suggest you take out a couple of hours for this.
  • Worth going!!! Best time is monsoon & Winter!!! I will suggest not to go during summer... it's up to you!! Carry water shop avl inside, only you'll get limited energy drinks near temple...restrooms are really clean an well maintained ( request please keep the place clean )
  • I lived in Chitradurga for about 10 years and did my primary and high schooling there. Fort was always our favorite picnic spot during school days. Even today whenever I go to Chitradurga, I give a visit to this amazingly built and well maintained fort. Visiting during summer season would be a bit tiresome and energy sapping, so the best to visit this fort is during Autumn and winter season and also during morning times when there isn't much sunshine.
  • Good place to visit. Historically significant monuments must be needed to be preserved and maintained carefully.Need 4 hours or more than that to see ful fort.
