(4.6/5 based on 95 reviews on the web)
Situated on the Ken River is the 30 meters deep canyon of Raneh Falls. Walk along the 3-mile long path by the Ken River to get a glimpse of the various waterfalls in this area. The canyon is formed of crystalline granite in a mixture of pinks, whites, reds, greens and greys which provide an exquisite background to the falls. There is a national park nearby that house alligators and crocodiles because of the perfect climate. During monsoon season, more waterfalls are formed. • It is best to visit it during the monsoon to see the waterfalls water butt, in other times is only a good ride with views of some common animals. Photos I send are without water. Bring something warm.

  • The visit is very interesting for wildlife but the incredible visit is it canon by which runs the Ken River and in rainy season should be impressive. In this time leaves a landscape with the canon and the pools natural that deserves it worth visit.

  • Really beautiful experience. However fall is not fully visible but whole package is great. Entry fee for autos ₹247 and guide charge ₹75. For 4 wheelers its more..
  • Good place to be at when you are around Khajuraho!!! Would recommend to visit during monsoon!!!
  • You must visit Raneh falls if you've come to Khajuraho. It is the only volcanic canyon India. Do try to come in the early hours, otherwise it gets quite hot. Between October and May, you can also visit the gharial (alligator) sanctuary that's adjacent.
  • A must visit spot when you are in Khujrao. Very pleasant and relaxing place with the real flavours of nature are seen at one single spot.
  • Shouldn't be missed out, when visiting Khajuraho. Experience is even better during the monsoons !
