  • I don't think it's right time to visit cherrapunjee. In November as there was no rain so falls are all very limited. The best time to visit this place is in monsoon season which is very long here. Alt...  more »

  • So Beautiful Water Fall & It is close to Cherrapunji. Water falls from a height of 1100 feet after seeing the little desire views takes wing. Also has a history behind its name. Nohkalikail, Ka-Likai has had the name of a woman called. Some family reasons, this woman here gave their lives to make the jump.
  • One of the highest waterfall, mostly covered under clouds. I had to wait for clouds to clear and have a view of amazing waterfall.
  • Scenic! Too beautiful. Best to visit in monsoon to see the plunge.
  • “A marvelous, massive waterfall” I think it's a perennial waterfall but I can't be sure. I was here in November and the fall was gushing unlike the Seven Sisters falls. It can be seen only from a distance as is seen in the picture and is a touristy place so there is a crowd at all times. There is a history attached to the the waterfall which has to do something with a woman who jumped off the cliff from where the water originates but nothing other than that. If you are fond of photography maybe you will like the opportunity it presents but other than that, I wouldn't go there a second time. At the entrance one will have to shell out for the parking, entry & camera charges (nominal range Rs.20 - Rs.50) and will encounter kids wanting you to buy the best cinnamon they are offering. It smelt really nice! Verdict 50/50. Could go if its already on your itinerary or even can give it a miss if you wish to just relax a little more that day. Visited November 2015
  • No doubt, It comes as the third destination when one goes for site seeing from shillong and is a fall worth seeing. The best scenes are visualized during monsoon season. Minor ticket of Rs 20 per head is charged for this place. Snacks Shops available.
