The Temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu. Venkateswara is known by many other names: Balaji, Govinda, and Srinivasa. Tirupati is well connected by road, rail and air. If you love to walk the hill then from Tirupati climb the hills of almost 15 kms. to Tirumala Temple. You don't have to worry about your belongings.
