  • Old structure with defective lifts and escalators, most of the shops have closed down and brand shops are shifted to Express Mall. Avoidable place.  more »
  • Old plaza, needs to reinvent to infuse enthusiasm to the visitors. Need more attention to entertainment and excitement.can do better..  more »
  • The Spencer is a mall that offers shops with traditional Indian products. Many shops closed and is a little sloppy but still a great place to buy typical items such as statues, rugs, pashminas, etc. Don't buy the first shop you see. Circulate by floors and haggle because it has many shops with similar articles and they are used to it and if the foreigner does not bargain they always give the higher price, knowing that. Has an excellent farmárcia with Ayurvedic products and scratch Manager Spanish and Portuguese. ´ Also worth taking a look at luggage stores. I bought excellent bags, super durable, for a great price in relation to Brazil.

  • One of the oldest mall in the country, which the history starts from British era. Mostly occupied by all type of retailers. Few branded shops are here. Though it lost its charm, coz of many new malls such as express avenue, Phoenix, still it attracts the visitors. It's big and spacious then other malls. So we can wander here and there as there are 3 phases with 3 floors. Good place to hangout with family and friends. Hassle free parking.
  • IT IS at the Heart of CHENNAI on Mount Road and just opp.to MGR Statue. Opposite road is Pattulous Road....Lot of Brnded showrooms vanHeusen, LandMark.Adidas, Bata,, Proline,Pantaloon, LEE,Arrow, levi's Casio,Food World, Spencer's &Co., are some of the major Brands you can find here Dont go anywhere else, if you want Quality products at their best prices and Banks. CitiBank, HSBC, ABN Amro, Amex, are housed in this mall is its specialty., IF YOU are hungry pay visit to McDonalds..... and other food courts.......and be satisfied.
  • One of the oldest malls in chennai. Known for is sky rocketing prices. But nowadays it has lost its charm to other malls such as Phoenix and express avenue. But definitely worth a visit.
  • This mall has lost most of its footfall to express avenue mall, but still has some shops (mostly handicraft, textile and electronics). So if you are looking for a typical fancy mall bustling with customers and major international brands, this is not the place. However, This mall does provide a relaxed atmosphere. There's enough space to move around and you can actually have a conversation without yelling. There are some eateries too, including McD and Saravana Bhavan. I think they have a subway also. I was surprisingly relaxed and happy after visiting this place. My wife and I bought some garments, and had sandwiches at 'sandwich square'. Parking is easily available too. So for a relatively relaxed experience, esp if you know what you specifically want to buy and that you get it there, this place is worth a visit.
  • Spencer Plaza is is the oldest shopping mall in Chennai located in Anna Salai, then known as Mount Road. This shopping complex house to several national and international brands. It also provides accommodation for the offices for many MNC's. However, many people sought other malls to hangout because of Modern trends. One good example is that, other rivalries providing theatre facility inside their complex but Spencer failed to provide it. Overall, this mall still not bad place to visit.
