  • The 10th December , 2016 is the date we will never forget . On this day we first visited Dakshin Chitra and then very fortunate to visit Cholamandal an Artists’ Village brainchild of K C S Paniker , e...  more »
  • All it is Displays of Small to Medium size art work in 2 buildings.. Could be a Artist's haven but for everybody's best interest..
  • It's located on the ECR. A quiet place where artists work and their artwork is displayed both for viewing and sale.

  • Beautiful day starts and ends with Cholamandal Artists Village: Awesome Place. Need patience to see all paintings. For me, it take more than 3 hours to see all the paintings. Ticket fare is Rs.20/- for adults. Apart from paintings we can see some sculptures in outside. After a long time i saw a big giant like banyan tree. They have canteen too. At the time of my visit, canteen was closed. Luckily i had my lunch in my bag. Had lunch with 2 cute brown and white cats along with one dog named brownie... :-)
  • Not so great. Could have had more vivid art forms at display. Most of it seemed monotonous. But the place is great in terms of environment it creates.
  • A really good, invigorating place to visit and chill and learn. You should talk to the people who've been here longer to know more about the place. They have interesting stories.
  • Cool place, interesting art on display here they also conduct classes on various art stuff
  • I hate this place. There is nothing interesting there, except some stupid pictures and sculptures.
