  • Nice place to visit. Especially kids will enjoy more. Entry fee is Rs.50 per adult. I loved the way the stall inside the campus ensure to keep the place clean. Visited Aavin stall they open the cover and ensure you to take your ice cream bars neatly. But I feel the dried wood blocks and dried leaves should be removed so that the place looks green.
  • India's oldest zoo.. what else can i say.. the zoo bus closes at 4.30. must ride to cover major spots.. and then get down take a break and then start walking to complete the zoo.. safari is also pretty decent. best time to go is early in the morning
  • wonderful place. Large area. Large parking area. Need to stay long to see animals. Zoo tour service is not good. The guide dont stop everywhere to see animals. Seems like they were in a hurry to finish the trip. Better to rent bicycle if you are going with friends..
  • It's one of the best Zoological park. It's better to take Bicycles for rent because the place is large, animals are placed in vast area.If you choose Battery operated vehicles , the operators will be in rush to move to other places. Camera is allowed but with some price. You can take your cellphones inside Zoo but if it has camera you need to pay for it too. There is an eatery and ice cream stall inside. There were many trees but the counts are reduced after Vardha cyclone hit Chennai.
  • Good place to visit on weekends. Best part is renting cycle and riding it through out the zoo. Bike parking costs you 10 rs .Entry fee is 50 for adults and you have to pay for carrying camera phone(25rs per phone) irrespective of whether you are using it or not. You can have a visit either in battery operated vehicle or a cycle which u can rent it by paying a refundable amount of 200 per cycle and 10 rs /hour.
