Chapora Fort, Chapora

(4.2/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Get a new perspective on the coastal area and the mouth of the river, as well as a greater understanding of local history at Chapora Fort. Built by the Portuguese in 1617 on the site of an older Muslim structure, the fort changed hands many times before its ultimate abandonment in 1892. Today, the crumbling ruins only possess outer walls, although the view from these alone merits the hike uphill. Standing on top of the ramparts, you'll gain sights of nearby beaches and the sparkling sea and river below. • Dil Chata hai fort. This place need to get clean up. Saw alot of beer bottles there.. You get a good view of the beach from there. You can sit around look at the beach, have your beer, enjoy the breeze...
  • As you know "Dil Chahta hai" film scene has been shoot here. Once you reached here You can enjoy panorama view of north Goa.
  • The Dil Chahta Hei Fort. Amazing view from the fort with water on 3 sides. Find a cool, silent place & enjoy the peacefulness listening to the birds & breeze. If it is not very sunny, you can take a 5 minute walk towards the cliff on the other side of the fort for more beautiful view.
