  • Museum buildings designed by Le Corbusier. The exposition itself may or may not be interested, although there is something to look at, but its appearance is beyond praise. The ticket is cheap (RS 10 entrance, 5 per shot) and stands, as well as everywhere in Chandigarh equally for both local and foreigners. When purchasing a ticket you should enroll in a thick book. Closes early enough, keep in mind.

  • This place is combination of 3 museums that are architecture, science, arts. In architecture all the plans used in this city are present here. In science fossils of great dinosaur. In arts we can get great collection of painting.
  • Nice history check and overall very well maintained, wrt cleanliness. The staff was helpful, but there was no guide available to tell us about the sculptures in more detail. Some parts of the museum are very poorly lit. 10 rupees entry ticket and 5 rupees camera pass.
  • Awesome collection of sculpture dating back to the early Buddhist period circa 4th century BC upto Mughal era miniatures
  • I loved the art, but am taking away one star because of the staff... but then one cannot expect much better from the Government perhaps. The Gandhara art section & the contemporary artists paintings were the most impressive sections. You can buy prints of some of the paintings at very reasonable prices. At the time I visted they could not find hose tubular cardboard casings to put the copies into. As a result one or two were damaged in the journey home
  • The Museum's maintain in a large area has Beautiful Building with 4 Wings. existence to the partition of the India Pakistan in August,1947 inaugurated on 6 May 1968. it speaks about the arts and culture of the history. There are wonderful items of metalwork, stone, coins, ancient and modern paintings. For Art lovers its a very interesting 1-2 hours tour. Unusually the museum allows photography, for a small fee Rupess 5. Monday Closed.
