  • This should be the first port of call for anybody visiting Chandigarh. They have guided tours of the capital complex created by Le Corbusier once every 3 hours throughout the day. On weekends, you only get to see the outside of the buildings. Each tour lasts for roughly an hour, and is an hour well spent.
  • “A rendezvous with the legendary Le Corbusier's work” A little backgrounder on the place before visiting the complex will make the visit more meaningful and fun. Knowing that this place was designed by the great architect and that the complex shares the jurisdiction of two states (Punjab & Haryana) is something very different and definitely worth spending your time taking a tour of this place. There is a special governmental tourism office in Chandigarh that books a tour for you with a dedicated guide, at no cost. Our guide was very informative about the history and the also the architecture of the place. We had an excellent time touring the complex. Visited October 2015
