(3.6/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Admire exquisitely arranged and intricately carved red sandstone at Lalgarh Palace and Museum, a royal complex designed by a British military architect in Indo-Saracenic style. Built between 1902 and 1926, the edifice is famous for its latticed sandstone, and once housed the royal Mughal family. Learn about the royal family of Maharaja Ganga Singh and check out the robes, uniforms, ornate fireplaces, magnificent colonnades still on display. Shri Sadul Museum features the world’s fourth-largest private library, and the complex also boasts a swimming pool made in Art Deco style. • This is Bikaner's famous hotel. You will like the architecture as well as hospitality of the hotel. Food was extremely delicious.  more »
  • I visited the Museum that is part of the Lallgarh Palace, while another part of the Palace is now a hotel. Built in red sandstone in indo-Saracen style houses in one wing the Maharaja's family residence. Interesting Museum, exposes many antiques of the Maharaja and in another wing you can admire the old classic cars. Manicured gardens

  • Nice building, with huge rooms, wardrobe room apart. It exudes a nice atmosphere although hotel staff is not very friendly. Wi-Fi works only in the lobby and to activate you need to pay 50 rupees every day. Seemed ridiculous.

  • Place looks grand but the interior misses soul. The dining room was rather austere and didn't have windows with an outside view. Rooms were OK.
  • Food and rooms very dated, shower and basin leaking, WiFi is not free throughout, you are not allowed the password, it is confidential, you are to hand your device over to the receptionist for him to enter the password and when it does work it is only available in the lobby...the bed is too hard, sore body and back in the morning, reconsider your need to stay here..
  • Visited here in airtel navratna meet 2014
  • Magnificent property
  • Peace full place
