  • Amazing place with such a wonderful experience over there. I visited here with my friends.
  • Divine , clean & peaceful place. A perfect destination for 1 day trip from Hyderabad. 140 km from my place in Hyderabad. Perfect one day trip
  • This was my first ever visit to a Gurudwara and the experience was inexplicable. The cool streams of water at the entrances to all the main areas is really soothing to the sun-burnt soles as were the bhajans to the souls from the Diwan Hall. The significance here is that of the "Nanak Jhira" created by Guru Nanak during his second missionary tour, which is believed to be holy. The spring collects in a pond nearby "Amrit Kund" where pilgrims take holy dips to cleanse away their sins, and also believed to be rejuvenating. The "Langar Hall" where food is served free of cost 24x7 to all the pilgrims is by far the most fulfilling and humbling experience. There are some customs in the way the food is offered and taken, with intolerance to the wastage of food which we take for granted, and finally the washing of plates, not only yours, but also of others. The way and manner in which service is done, taken, and offered is truly amazing irrespective of ones color, creed, caste, sex, or authority. One of the most amazing things which I happened to witness is the diversity, people from all walks of life and religion thronging this place to pay their respects...really amazing, a must visit place in Bidar.
