  • Very nice and quiet place to roam around. Away from Bidar's noisy environment. Very convenient to drive there. The road's condition is good. Although, all the tombs are look good from a distance but once you get closer the picture gets clear. Almost, all the tombs are either in dilapidated condition or will be. Renovation is going on in one of the tombs but reconstruction will take toll as modern tools will not bring the grandeur it had once. The exquisite carvings on outer as well as inner walls still shows signs of beautiful artistry it had enjoyed at that time. Anyways, it must be high on priorities list if you are a history buff.
  • The tombs are connected by a beautifully laid road. And you can reach there very easily. There is no parking available , we parked our car on the entrance road. There is no ticket to go inside the complex. Infact the outer wall is also broken , through which people come and go. The monuments are in a diaplated condition. Some of them broken into pieces. When I went there restoration works are going on, so expecting better state in coming months. There is not much history about these tombs at the place. Either you have to google it or use the local guide available there. There are no facilities , like washroom or drinking water. However it is a good place for a evening stroll. And is more like a park (Lodi gardens in Delhi) , you will find youth taking pictures, children playing cricket.
  • Historical monuments located in Ashtoor village, near Bidar town. Easily accessible from the ring road. If you are asking for directions, ask for the Ashtoor village rather than Bhamani Tombs as it seems locals are unaware of them. Undergoing renovation, and access is restricted as both the entrance gates are closed. But can enter into the premises by foot, through a broken wall. No canteen/restaurant. Need to carry food and refreshments. A descendant of Bahamani rulers is working as a guide here.
  • Bahamani Tombs is a place of group of tombs of Bahamani's. Here you can see huge tombs of them. They are very old. Few are damaged.
  • The tombs are grand. A very calm and quiet place. The inscriptions on red blue and gold tiles can still be seen after 600 years.
