Prag Mahal Palace, Bhuj
Categories: Castles, Architectural Buildings, Tourist Spots
Admire fine masonry Venetian arches and rose stone of Prag Mahal Palace, an Italian Gothic style palace in the middle of Bhuj. Designed by a British colonel in the 1860s, the complex was commission by King Pragmalji. See if you can spot Indian elements in this Victorian structure and find a small Hindu temple in the yard behind the palace. If you find a caretaker, he will be happy to assist with more information. Climb the 45 m (148 ft) tall bell tower with a clock to get a sweeping view of the city. By using our Bhuj trip builder, you can arrange your visit to Prag Mahal Palace and other attractions in Bhuj.
