  • Aina mahal is an 18th-century palace in Bhuj. It is located next to the Pragmahal. It was built by Rao Lakhpatiji in 1761. The palace was damaged in the 2001 earthquake. However, a portion of the palace which was not so badly damaged has been restored and it houses the museum, displaying the bed room, music room, court room and other old pieces of arts, paintings, arms, etc.
  • The Aina Mahal, which is next to the Prag Mahal, holds some prized relics. One can find collections of coins, musical instruments, guns, paintings, mirror-works and several other items used by the rulers of Kutch. The King's Room, Musical Courtyard are also great to see. The building however is in ruins and many artifacts are also in deteriorating condition. Do visit this place, it will take only an hour to see.
  • Old heritage but not maintained, usp for this palace is mirrors but now most of the mirrors are corroded or broken or faded. But museum is good.
  • Needs bit for maintenance and if possible more information about palace can be provided to visitors. Other than that it's pretty good. Entry fee is 20 per head and photography is prohibited.
  • It was great fun over there. It is famous heritage place and palace the in Kutch
