  • Walk to the Aina Mahal from the Kutch Museum, has moved. The walls collapsed in the earthquake in Kutch district and pass through the gate of the plug Mahal, comes and goes. Aina Mahal is in the garden is a very large building. Maharaja is home to take your shoes off, went into the room, furnishings and weapons were displayed.

  • Very good place with historical things stored and kept nicely, check out the clock which was made around 1825 which shows date, time, sub position, moon phase, Hindu calendar dates and what not which is marvellous of engineering, old coins, paintings, sculptures and other beautiful items. They have entry fee and also charge for phone or camera if you want to shoot. Overall good experience with friends.
  • Crumbly old earthquake damaged building but inside are some fabulous patterns on doors, tiles floors, ceilings etc. If you like detailed patterns you'll love this. It's worth paying an extra few rupees for the use of your camera. The blue tiles on the floor are stunning.
  • It is a worth watch historical place. Even though earthquake of 2001 in kutch led to minor damage to the building but it has been refurbished by the govt. Beautifully carved ivory doors and the fountains, mirror mirror and mirrors where ever you see.. Everything is so beautifully designed that one should at least see it once. And the entry fee is just rs 20 which is affordable
  • As the name suggests "Aaina Mahal" which means "The Palace Of Mirrors". The place is a piece of history, which makes us feel that royal lifestyle, and shows us the talent of the artists of that time. It is the place to be visited if you are interested in learning about the history. The timings to visit the Palace are 9am - 11am & 3pm - 5pm.
  • Did not like it. Entire museum is filled with old mirrors. Nothing awed me. May be will be good for people who are interested in history
