One can see different types of real ancient war weapons ,monument statues, archeological discovery of Odisha, Different civilization tools instrument, sushurt describing human body details in stone form, tantra statue, mantra stone symbol, million worth palm scripts etc. Incredible museum that show real Odisha timeline from ancient to modern under one roof.
It has a very good collection of artifacts, scripts, murals etc and you get to know a lot about the rich history and culture of Odisha. Overall a very enriching experience. The only downside - no drinking water available inside the building.
I loved it I am from odisha and when I am coming odisha I always go there
The location is easily accessible via public transportation and is close to both airport and railway station. The museum has numerous number of items related to various topics ranging from the History of Kalinga, it's geography etc. Don't mistake it as a place for children to learn, you will also learn a thing or two! Must visit
Good place to see the history of odisha. Good staff.
